Long Time

Wow it has been a long time since I have posted things have been crazy. We finished building our house and moved in shortly after my last post. Everyone knows that it takes a long time to put your life back in order again. I still have a lot of things to do in the house. Takes even longer when you have to keep up with work and kids. My oldest is going to kindergarten this year wow that was a wake up call! Lots of things going on with business. Christmas Coming Fast!

How is everyone doing this time of year? Well things are going fast here we are coming close to the end of building our house and lots of decisions now on my part like paint colors, cabinet designs, etc.. Never thought so much was involved in building a house I almost wish they didn't have so many choices because it just gets confusing for me. My 2 boys have been sick the sickest I have ever seen my 4 year old since birth. I had them get flu shots yesterday and wow was the 4 year old mad.
Still looking for some more work from home never enough you know I am still coding and working my business but still need more money. Wish I could find something online that I could do like Customer service or something. I know everyone is looking for work at home like data entry etc.., but it is impossible to work on the phone at all with my 2 boys I can't even talk for a minute right now. I have tried talking to people about house decision and that is almost impossible to do so I know I couldn't do any phone work at this time.
I was diagnosed with Crohn's disease in May also and the medicine is really expensive like making a car payment every month. I don't have the greatest prescription coverage either basically they assist me for the first $1000 after that I am on my own for the rest of the year. Now try and go online to find another prescription company and they mostly geared towards seniors what about the middle class people who aren't poor enough to qualify for any assistance, but yet don't make enough to pay extra bills either. I know it sounds strange saying I am building a house yet can't afford to pay $400 a month for medicines, but you know that we will be financially strapped with the house and it scares me right now, but we have to have a place to live too which is why I need another job to do at home until the kids get bigger. Well I better get busy lots to do today!!

Long Time Lots of Stuff Going On!

Hi it has been a long time since I wrote so much has went on. I have been living at my in-laws since middle of May because we are building a house right now which is really exciting. There are more choices then I have ever dreamed of when building a house so many options from cupboards to flooring that I never thought I would get to choose. I always thought I would live in a house some day, but never dreamed of getting to build one from scratch. It will be so nice when it is all said and done.

I wanted to touch a little on Chargebacks. I recently have had a issue with them one customer basically scammed me out of around $300 in products. I also paid the shipping out of my pocket. That really stinks you know I am learning a lot about credit cards that I never knew before I mean I have used them since I was in college, but never knew a lot of the rules until now. I have to wait until Nov. 6th to find out if I lost out on over $300, but to make things worse now the company I use to process cards is evaluating me to see if I can still use them because my chargeback rate is too high. I had a lot of orders this month and maxed out half way thru the month now I can't do anymore processing until Nov. 1st I asked for a increase in processing limit, but was denied because of the chargebacks. I just keep getting punished over and over again with these chargebacks which are from the same customer. I thought I was safe processing for someone who had ordered from me previously and I had no trouble then the second time she ordered I got a lot of chargebacks because she placed multiple orders within a couple of days. Should've Known something was up with multiple orders, but she said she was getting married at the end of the week so I thought she just forgot a few things. I will definetly be changing my processing from now looking for those fraud orders. Well thanks for listening to my issues I will try and update more often now.

Updated Post!

Hi I know its been a while since I wrote I just have been really busy. My document coding job finally picked up and I have been working constantly because we are trying to get a real estate loan for a new place I am really excited. I have been wanting a different place for a really long time.

My Mary Kay business is about the same I have quit most of my advertising to see how my reorder rate will be without anymore advertising besides I am sick of getting emails from others saying my advertisement is illegal and they are reporting me to Mary Kay. I Like advertising online for those people who want to be able to do everything over the internet and not feel bothered.

I am really excited to see spring this year, anyone else?? Spring seems to be early this year in North Dakota, our farmers already getting ready to seed their crops and last year it wasn't til middle May if I remember correctly. I really hope that it is warmer here this summer last year wasn't very warm temps stayed cool, the crops around here didn't fair very well because of this. Hope all is well in the blogging world I will have to read some posts!!

Huge Order, but it didn't go through!

Can anyone explain to my why people place large orders or orders at all on your website without the intension to actually pay for it. I am really puzzled why people take the time to place order enter their information and then never pay for it. I had this happened twice in one week. Both times the cards were declined so I politely gave them a call to see what they would like to do rerun or try a different one. What I find really annoying is that why can't they just be honest with you I mean it is costing me money to call them long distance in the first place, one lady I called and a man answered the phone so I said is Sheila there he said just a minute then I heard him talking to a lady and telling her who I was then he comes back on the line and asks for the last name of the person I am looking for and tells me that I have the wrong number doesn't that sound funny to you. I had this happen today also I called a lady last friday she placed a huge order so I wanted to make sure it was legit and her card was declined too she said oh I don't have my purse my husband has it can you call back on Monday, so I did. Called once and she picked up and said you have the wrong number. I dialed it again and her husband answered and handed her the phone so I just asked do you still want your order she said no not at this time. I really didn't know what to say after that. Why place orders and never intend to actually pay for them I really don't understand! Well let me know what you think!!

Kids what a scare!!

Hi everyone I had a big scare this week my 1 year old decided to jump off the counter. At first I thought he bit through his lip and needed stitches. I really wasn't sure, but it looked really deep. So I rushed to town about 20 miles away and asked my brother if he thought he needed stitches. He wasn't sure so we went to a nursing home where my brother works and asked a RN there she said no, but man did it look deep. I took her advise because well the emergency room charges are so crazy that I really didn't want to take him if I didn't have too. But really how am I to know what is bad or not right. I think I will take a first aid class and CPR too because the fastest anyone could get to my house is at least 10 min, my child could die or have serious damage in that amount of time. Sometimes I think that I have alread had multiple heartattacks with my 2 boys getting hurt. I can't stand to see them in pain or bleeding!! Well that was my excitement for the week beside job searching. Thinking of taking a phone job for a while to get some steady income coming in!!

My Business

Hello business is slow right now I was hoping it would be running at good pace by spring, but now I am not so sure. I am starting to stress about money the Independent Contractor job is very slow and not consistent right now. I really need consistent income coming in. Sometimes I get so frustrated trying to juggle my kids, work, cooking, cleaning, and just trying to be happy. I read all these stories of successful people, but is it really possible for me I wonder. I guess I am just having one of those days!! Well enough about my life I hope you have a great Valentines Day!!
